Cheapest place to get a Denali?

Postby Banned for Life » Sat Jan 13, 2018 9:32 am

I'm trying to get a Cobra Denali for the hell of it. It seems that most vendors charge So much for shipping I might as well be buying a lcp or a keltec. (Already have those)

Anyone have the scoop on a vendor that doesn't gouge? I've looked on gunbroker and all the other auction sites as well.

Buds has one for $126 and free ship.

Then you would have to add what your FFL charges for transfer.

$118 plus shipping: http://www.mrgundealer.com/handguns/sem ... tan-finish
$119.99 plus shipping: https://www.classicfirearms.com/cobra-d ... auto-satin
Add to that your local FFL's cost for doing transfers.

Dunhams has them for $124.99. You may be able to find one in a store or get it shipped to a dunhams if there's one near you.

IMO wait for a used one. SNS guns are money pits when bought new. Used and cheap its hard to loose money on them assuming they are not broken. Since its a current gun Cobra would probably hook you up.

I kind of want one to play around with too. The one I shot was pretty nice. One of the higher quality SNS guns to come out. If they made them in a 32acp I would be all over them.

Last keltec p11 I bought was $90 lightly used and that gun blows most of the junk on the market away in terms of design, durability, parts availability and cost, power, capacity, ease of carry, and versatility. Downside is accuracy but its about 95% due to the trigger overtravel and can be fixed easily. Keltec p11 and denalli are about the same size BTW.

If you find a used Denali, just look at the grip screws. There are little helicoil style nutcerts in the plastic gripframe and they can unscrew along with the grip screws if someone has ever taken the grips off of it. I hope they have fixed that with the newer ones but on mine the grip screw threads are an issue. I got one of the very first ones out. Cobra has since changed the profile of the magazine baseplate finger extension on those mags, who knows what else they may have changed in the last few years.
