New Phoenix Owner

Postby sarahsmom » Mon Feb 15, 2016 6:30 pm

Hi, guys! New Phoenix HP22 owner here! Haven't been able to shoot it yet, but looking forward to it. See a few familiar names here from hpff. Have Hi Points, a Taurus 738 TCP, and a Ar15. Hope it was OK just to post to say hello!

Well hello there, great to have you with us. How do you like the little Taurus?

I like it, very accurate gun! Snappy though! It will never be a range gun, but in my pocket for self defense - definitely! Years ago (30+) I had a Raven .25. Still wish I had it, never should of sold it. Would like to get one to replace it, but will probably be an hp25 down the line. ;)

Welcome to the club...unlike the other gun forums were pretty laid back..no blasting for a welcome and no forced introduction thread first...and I see we have another lady

Welcome aboard Sarahsmom! You'll find we are a bit more low-key than the folks over on the Hi-Point forum, I hope you stick around!

no I am sorry. I have all the Ravens now except for a few amateur raven collectors here which I let pick some up so they dont feel left out. I am cornering the raven market. Try a Jimenez 25acp. They are pretty decent. Stay away from sundances as they blow up. lorcin 25s are OK once you sanitize them as most on the market were carried by pimps or drug dealers at one time or another. I recommend spaying down lorcins vigorously with lysol before handling.

Nah, want a Raven, because that's what I had. If it can't be a Raven, then an hp25! :D

Welcome to the forum. Ravens (and the Phoenix Raven) make me happy. They're my favorite 25 caliber SNS.
