Is the spring loose? It should be held in place by the two stake points.
Hmm, I'm going to have to take a look at mine again.

<Edit: The springs on mine are staked in place.>

By the way Whiterook, now you're going to have to fit the 5" range barrel. Phoenix doesn't offer them anymore, but they ARE out there.

Well the issue seems to still occur. From what I can gather when flipping the safety up it clicks the safety "plate" out of connection with the spring. I just am not sure exactly what is causing this. I can take pics but not sure how to upload.

The front edge of the safety that I circled in red goes underneath the mag release button.
Remove the slide, pull the safety upward, and re-position it with the front edge under the button.
You will probably have to reset the spring so it engages the safety; it's pops right back into place.

Yup. I have done that and reset the safety. Still, it just pops right back out of place after using the safety a few times.

Here it is with safety repositioned correctly:

And right after when clicking safety on. Pops immediately out of position.

Another thing I just notice that seems...off..with the magazine safety on the hammer pulls back and clicks to almost a half cock...I dont believe it did that before.
