I've identified at least four different manufacturing variations of the small sliding safety switch. The curved one is the only difference visible externally, but there are three other minor differences in the way the switches themselves are formed. When I get around to posting up my request for data I'll put up a photo showing the differences.

No worries. HAHA I have one with the curved safety variation on its way, that should complete the standard production variations for the Raven Arms models. I guess I'll need to keep an eye out for those potential transition variations and the known floral variation. I need to take a break from Ravens for a little while though... I put a DDI Cheetah 12 gauge on layaway, so I'm light on spending money for a while.

I'd jumped to the conclusion that BP only made the original, round safety that was backward, i.e. S<>F.

I just found a parts kit to a Baldwin Park that matches your description. Granted, the parts in a kit could be a "mix & match", but the photos of the kit are exactly as you describe. I've overlaid a second picture of the slide to show the Baldwin Park roll mark and the safety (F<>S).

Well, I bought it to add to the Raven collection. Not pristine, but it'll do for now.
