RG10 on gunbroker for $115 + 40 Shipping

Postby Flowmaster » Sat Jan 23, 2016 7:19 pm

I found this on gunbroker. Can someone explain why it has 14 bids and is currently at $115 plus $40 shipping? I really don't understand.

I paid $50 for an RG10 and I felt like I was overpaying at that kind of money.

People are stupid. They're also paying $140 for Ravens and Lorcins these days. That RG10 doesn't even have the rod and is over $100.

A Kel Tec is $180-200 used. There's absolutely no reason to buy a Rohm revolver for $150+ after fees.

After the first two bids, the rest are relatively Newbie bidders. Current high bidder is NR, has never won on Gunbroker. On top of the bidding silliness for the gun, shipping is another whopping $40. So it currently is a $155 gun before transfer fees. Yikes, that's sad, that's a bad, bad, deal.

If they have deep pockets to fund their desire, so be it. No way would I bid that crazy.

Wow i have one I purchased for $40 on a whim one day and days later I actually wondered why i bought it. Mine is missing the rod also, but I saw them somewhere for $20.

I know nothing about them I guess I'll have to do some studying up.

I never pay more than $50 for a J22, Raven, Lorcin, Davis, or RG that comes in on trade at the gun shows. My boss usually puts them up at $99 to $119 depending on condition and whether or not they have the original box. Even at a hundred-ish dollars, they don't always sell that quickly.

I paid $160 out the door for my Kel Tec P32 used. One mag, worn, no box or zipper sleeve. I've carried it daily for years now. It was truly an outstanding value at $160. I almsot can't believe that someone would go out of their way to pay more than that for an RG10 without an ejector rod. Its one thing to spend $155 on a whim as a spur of the moment impulse buy, but its another thing to sit at your computer, think about it, bid on it, then go through the work of arranging an FFL transfer, let alone paying for that FFL transfer.
