RG Model 57

Postby RF4guy » Wed Apr 20, 2016 1:24 pm

So, I've heard of them, and only seen one for sale once before...the all steel RG model 57 in .44 Magnum. There's one for sale on Gunbroker...they want $280 for it...Tempted, but damn that's a lot of money for an RG...what say you all?

And there's one bid on it already. I don't know a thing about RG's, but if it's a rare one, and it's in good condition (and it appears to be) yup, I'll help you spend your money and say "Go for it!" :D

You could do that. Or you could buy a Windicator in 357 for about $50 more, often including taxes.

I would guess the 57 is actually made by Wierauch, it has similar architecture.

I might....I just bought the Rossi Police turn in a couple weeks ago...and even though you don't see them often, I thought $280 was too much for an RG...damn...I decided that I want to save for a Vis 35 instead.
