Gun Test magazine

Hey anyone remember the old Gun Test Magazine? It was in the early 80's by a guy named Phil Engram I think. It was expensive but boasted no gun ads. The reason I bring it up was because they had reviews on RG, Raven, Titan and a few other SNS guns you never would see in mainstream gun mags.

I have seen a Raven review IIRC in that mag that was pretty favorable. I'd love to find some reviews from back then about them.

They survived into the 90's, I remember they did a comparison between the Winchester 9422 and then-new Henry H001.

I remember before Gun Test there was Pistolero also by Phil Engeldrum. Loved it, They ripped some high end handguns for deficentcies and praised the Raven!

The Atomic Lab Rat has some in PDF. http://www.atomiclabrat.com/Handgun%20T ... gazine.htm

I think Atomic Lab Rat was once a member. but I cannot recall his name here.

Those were great. My dad would buy them, and I'd read every one he bought.

You'd get Phil's full-on opinion -- no sugar coating!
