Bud's French Police Trade in Model 10

Postby Whiterook » Thu Nov 08, 2018 7:04 pm

Well, picked up one of these:

https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/pro ... +Blue+POOR

Mine is in better shape than the picture and locks up tight. Bore is great. Grips are ugly but comfortable...going to buy wood grips soon. I've been wanting a 4 inch .38 Special for a while and this fills the gap! I highly suggest it.

I bought one about 4 years ago at Buds Gun Shop in Lexington Ky. Beautiful condition it supposed to be a police revolver, but no info of where it came from.

I did not see any mention on the site that these were French. How did you know???

They are the same as these that are listed under the Smith part:

https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/mob ... spl_4_blue

Also, the grips are "Trausch", which from what I read are made by French LE.
