Snake shot. Good one.

Yep... my JA22 functions so well now that I do not really want to mess with it. My RSO got 1" groups at 3 yard the first time he shot it (not counting flyers). I'm at 1.5 - 2" groups so far (I was at... well let's not go there.)

Thanks for the intel on the other 25's. 7.62x25 = MOG ballistics!

Actually, I have always found most J-guns to be as accurate as any other small .22. The late model Brycos have always been the best, I think.

I have been to the range twice and I'm having good target results with painting the bottom 25% of the front sight that I found that my particular Ja22 needs. I've had a few 1.5" groups that are only .5" off center. Really encouraging for me considering I had been struggling with 8" targets.

The non-painted top 75% of the front sight blots out the X too much so at some point I will start shaving it down to find the right height that this rail likes.

Hey... what is the best way to trim down the front sight? Basic flat file, Dremmel, ...

I'd go with your basic flat file.
