Well the j22 went into a bag of pb blaster last night, the grips came off easy w/ proper sized flathead (first try) but the mag wouldn't budge and the safety button seems stuck by the slide so I couldnt remove these two parts w/ plastic, hopefully the slide will be moving when I get off work and hopefully the pb don't eat plastic

I finally looked it up: black (negative) goes to the gun and red goes to the junk electrode. BTW, I have an old battery charger I use for this

Alright the Jennings came apart!! The safety buttons fine and the mag spring as well as the other spring, tho theyre stuck to the frame and in the firing pin well in the slide I have a feeling they'll come out tonight if I go mess with it more still soaking in the blaster, farmkid, does electrolysis take off the finish as well? I was thinkin to use this for the Luger and 1911, tho Martin expressed fears it may remove remaining finish as well, hes never electrolysised a gun before, he suggested pb blaster and transmission fluid tho I fear chemical, scrubbing damage , idk

Everything's apart that isn't held in by a pin, the sear seems stuck, dint have a punch small enough for the pin that holds the ejector, probably stop by the hardware store on the way home from work unless I see a gun shop or something.. more pics after it's punched, should be tonight, rust is cleanin off fairly easily

Unfortunately, I don't know: I've used it only for bores.

Try Ace Hardware if you have one in the area. I've found them in Sears too.

For a punch in a pinch, find a drill bit the right size and cut off the smooth end that goes in the chuck and use it.

The j-22 is functioning! Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image there's still a couple spots that need more work and I'm not shooting it til I do but hopefully this will get more guns brought for repair! I'm out of blaster and need some polishing compound for the firing pin chamber and a spot or three inside the slide but it hand cycles and functions
