Lots of forum members own a top break or two. Show us what you've got!
Here's some pics of my Harrington & Richardson in 32 S&W
(The other small gun is a Harrington & Richardson Young America in 22 short.)

Nice!! When you find a top break around here its usually trashed.

I used to have an H&R top break but not anymore. Mine was a Sportsman and it worked really well.

Gotta few of those sns's myself. Love 'em ! Anybody got any parts, grips, screws, cylinders, etc you'd consider parting with ? I've got a few frames, hammers, junk, etc i could swap. Any interest let me know & i'll see if I can figure out how to put photos on here. Anybody ever hear of a "Blue Whistler" ? (pretty lil' thing)

Seriously, we need pics of yours and something to compare it to size wise! (now you have to learn how to do it, LOL) :D
I use TinyPics http://tinypic.com/index.php and use the size for message boards, copy the link and paste it in. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

I want me a top break so bad....

And then Farmkid had to show up with the H&R 999 that belonged to his father. I got to drool over it a bit at least. That's what I really want is a 999 or an Iver Johnson Sealed 8. Anyone got either one for sale cheep? I could care less how they look as long as they shoot!

Those H&R Sportsmen 999s -if they're in good shape- can go for some serious money. And yeah, they're worth drooling over.

I guess I need to dig my 999 out of my safe one of these days and take some pics. I picked it up from GB last year for less than $250 including transfer fees and shipping. It was in excellent condition except it was missing the rear sight and had a busted hammer screw...so I was able to get a steal of a deal. I picked up the replacement parts for less than $15 and now I've got a revolver worth around $500. :D I wish all of my gun deals were that good.

I have regretted getting rid of my Sportsman 999 since I did it. It was a great revolver, although the one I had was pretty beat up and missing probably 75% of the bluing, it worked well and was lots of fun.
