Top Break pix!

Top Break Revolvers and Suicide Specials: Many were poorly made all were basic, inexpensive, simple guns which sold at modest prices . “Suicide Specials" were the "Saturday Night Specials” of their day and age. Beginning in the late 19th century, a huge number of these were sold through various retail outlets. Examples are Iver Johnson, Harrington & Richardson, and (H & R Firearms)

Hmm. Missing rear sights seem to be a common issue with these. :(
My 999 was discovered in a gun shop marked with a $69 price tag and "Broken, As-Is". As you can see the finish is poor; I've been replacing the missing parts as I find them (I need at least one more part.) It will never win a glamour-gun contest but it should be a cool shooter once I finish fixing it. :D Image

Basically it looks like that but it has what looks like ivory grips and a "gold"colored hue to it . I didn't know it was made by H&A. First, I gotta find which box it's in (jUST MOVED) tHEN the picture thing. Thanks for the pic.

My dad's was unfired, or thereabouts; yeah, beautiful. Unfortunately, it goes to my brother. :D  :D  :D

I failed to get pix before turning it over, but I'll ask him for some.

If they don't trust us with guns, how can we trust them with the government?

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen". Samuel Adams,
