550 million firearms

Postby Admin » Sun Apr 06, 2014 10:31 pm

"There are over 550 million firearms
in worldwide circulation; that's one
firearm for every twelve people.
The only question is;
how do I arm the other eleven?"

Philip Luty
If they don't trust us with guns, how can we trust them with the government?

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen". Samuel Adams,

That's pretty impressive when you think about it. It's a big planet.

That's a LOT of guns!! I hope most of them are in America!!
I read somewhere that Ruger made over a million guns in 2012 and in 2013.
And many guns are still pretty hard to find...

Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Colt, Springfield, even Keltec.. They all ramped up manufacturing after Newtown and the threat of more restrictive laws. I wouldn't be surprised if the total number of guns produced were 50% or more greater then the previous year. We can thank Our Dear Leader and his minons in Washington for making 2013 one of the best years for firearm manufacturers in a decade if not longer.

I couldn't resist!! Had to put up a few "Salesman Of The Year" pictures!! :D

What makes this so funny and ironic is because it's the absolute truth!! He's a total gun-control freak and about the only part of the economy that has massively improved is the firearms industry.

I wouldn't be surprised if the gun manufacturers start pumping money into the Democratic party - Obama has created a lot of wealth in the firearms industry...

In reality, the wealth that Obama, "Mr. Gun Salesman of the Year", has helped to create in the firearms industry, will be used to help defeat members of his own party!! And anti-gun candidates everywhere I suspect... A little more irony!!

I also liked the sign below. :D

I'm sure the dems have $$ invested in firearms , they known since 1968 that if you ban one thing(importing small pistols) there will be more money made domestically and look who gets to invest on the manufacturers, big money Americans, and if ur writing the rules say six months a year in advance you'll have plenty of time to see what to invest in once the "law" goes into place...

I was taking about people being able to donate to a political party. IMHO, money = free speech. People should be allowed to donate all they want - IMHO. What 84minieldo brings up is members of congress and their private investments. That's a whole other can of worms. "Unethical" doesn't seem like a strong enough word. "Fraud" sounds a little better. I explain it a little better below...

Well, basically, our fine upstanding politicians in Washington, were completely free to do what you're suggesting. It's called "INSIDER TRADING" and is totally against the law for anyone to do. Except for congress!! It was legal for them.
Well, when that fact came to be known, congress passed the "Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act". Wasn't that nice of them? After they get caught doing something that's illegal for we the people to do, they take action!!
One of our favorite politicians - Dianne Frankenstein - was one of the worst offenders... :o
Problem solved, right??
Well, I don't know all the facts, but congress has made some "changes" with the "Act" that they passed, and have taken the guts out of it. Sounds Like they are almost as free to commit 'insider trading" now, as they were before.
For me, the most scary part is, that nobody seems to care... :?
