Anyone ever done stippling?

Postby Flowmaster » Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:31 pm

Stippling polymer frame pistols is really hot right now. A lot of people use woodburning tools or soldering irons. I've seen the work on youtube but never tried it myself. Have you folks ever done it? I'm sort of afraid of messing up a gun but have a source to get destroyed partial Glock frames so those would be good for practice.

I did it on my Hi-Point grips and I was surprised at how easy it was. Don't press the iron too far into the plastic. I also recommend starting on a piece that can be easily replaced.

I have not. Doesn't interest me but have had a couple customers who have done their own. They liked it.
