Bauer Automatic extended magazine

Postby adam01364 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 9:21 pm

Take an F.I.E. / Excam Titan .25 ACP magazine, match it up to a Bauer / Baby Browning magazine, and cut a notch into the back.
Open up the magazine, smooth over any and all rough edges inside and outside of the magazine, and trim about 1/4" off the follower and smooth the edges on it as well.
Sounds simple? It really is, and it works great! :D 7+1 capacity and more to hang onto.

Cool. I'll have to give it a try. I think I have some extra Titan mags somewhere.
Why the 1/4" trim off of the follower? Is that taken off the top?

When you disassemble the Titan magazine, you'll see that the follower is pretty long and it prevents loading the extra round. :(

If Admin decides it should be a sticky, I'll have to edit the original post and add a few more how-to pictures so that it's "sticky-worthy". ;)

Uh oh, I think we have some assault Bauers being created in MAss... ;)

Say what? Oh, you mean like this?

Okay, apparently Bauer QC inspection was about the same as Jimenez Arms. I have now checked multiple Bauers; and SOME of the mag wells will not accept the Titan magazine. :(

Right now it's a 50/50 proposition.

The Titan magazine does fit my PSP-25 however. ;)
