Ah, yes, the Brandon Maxfield story. Parents leave a loaded and unsecured firearm in the house and the kids find it, with tragic results.

Jennings turning out to be a chester is something I didn't find out until I had internet
access again.
That repulsiveness to one side, it doesn't change the facts of the Maxfield case. A legally
manufactured, legally sold, fully functional, non defective firearm was stored loaded and
unsecured by the owners of said firearm. The pistol was discovered by a babysitter, and
the end result of what happened next was a negligent discharge that crippled Maxfield for
life.

And somehow, that was Bryco's fault.
When I see five weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.

Agreed. The owner, as we all agree, is a massive piece of crap. Thing is, the gun did what it was supposed to. The trigger was pulled and it fired, to terrible results but that failure goes on Maxfield's inept parents and NOT the manufacturer.

It is important to note here that one presidential candidate wants to bring us back to this. To allow lawsuits to be pressed against manufacturers for misuse or mishandling by owners. This is not good.

Just had to add a little emphasis.
