They have redone their website with an emphasis on their colors and engraving. http://www.jimenezarmsinc.com/

JA 25 and JA 32 "coming soon"
If it comes as fast as their website updates, we may see them in a few years.

If Jimenez would offer engraved pistols ala floral J-22, I think they could stir up a whole new customer base.

You know, it wouldn't be hard considering their laser engraving capabilities.

Indeed. The old ones were apparently cast that way, an expensive proposition. But with their new laser abilities, this'd be a piece of cake.

Especially if they work!

That would be quite a new feature for some of these designs. You should never be able to describe the functioning of a firearm design, that remains in production for decades, as "hit or miss" (there's a pun there). Even with some custom engraving, floral or otherwise, I would like to see evidence that a new JA-22 (or JA-25) is worth purchasing over one or two used Ravens.

Haters aside, I think it's pretty difficult to beat the reliability of a trusty ol' MP-25.

I was browsing GunBroker for the first time in a long time, and noticed the new color schemes they're putting on them now. Never was a big fan of odd color schemes myself. Seems like there would be better things for the company to spend their money on considering what the price of some of the polymer framed dao carry guns has been the last few years.
When I see five weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.

You miss the point. The rare floral slides, produced for mysterious and undocumented purposes and probably never released on production guns, are notorious for the difficulties in fitting them for reliable service. My comment was not meant to disparage our beloved SNSs, but rather to comment with a bit of humor on these unicorns.
