This could be quite a neat piece to own.

I've had my 9mm H/P carbine (995ts) for over a year and what a KISS and dependable gun it has been. Have well over 1K rnds through it using every kind of 115/124 FMJ brass, alum and steel ammo. Never any cycling issue. ((Full info: H/P does not recommend hollow points and 147gr ammo due their blunt bullet profile. However lots of carbine shooters have no probs with 115/124 hollow's that have a well tapered nose. )) I have never cracked open my 995ts. All I have ever done is snake it. True, it's not a 100yrd and over type firearm since it is shooting just handgun ammo. But a 10mm with lots of powder...

If I ever see a used 995 in person that isn't too expensive I'm going to buy it. A pistol caliber carbine would be a lot of fun.

The 10mm offering from Hi Point will probably sell well. I was surprised when they came out with a 380 offering.

This seller usually has the 995ts for $225 + $8 s/h. VG price. BUT they also have put then on sale for $205 :o twice in the last 90 days! Xmas list item.

With Hi-Point's warranty, I don't care if I see it before I get it. If it's cheap, I go for it. Hi-Point will correct any discovered deficiencies for free, like they did on my $38 purchase I posted here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3392

SNS in 10mm :o

Pulse is so High in 10mm it will be interesting to see how well these hold up to full power loads. Personally I cant see a blowback ZAMAK being up for the challenge. Its going to have to use a pretty massive bolt. Kudos to Hipoint for giving it a go.

What I would really like to see is a pistol and carbine combo in 7.62 x 25.

10mm carbine in full power would actually be a decent hunting gun though.... among other things.

Masterpiece arms made a 460 rowland carbine for a short while that was pretty wicked. Kind of wish they would have kept it going.

I believe IraqVeteran888 converted a 40 cal carbine to a 10mm several years ago and I don't recall it giving them any problems. One from the factory would almost certainly be of higher quality than a conversion. As far as the carbines go I'm very, very happy with mine. If I owned a 10mm pistol of any type I'd probably have to get a 10mm carbine to go along with it. But I don't, so I probably won't get the 10mm carbine.

At the gun show over the weekend we sold a used Hi Point 4095 with the digital tan camo finish on it. We got $205 for it with a sling and the original box, plus tax of course. Me and the other guy at the gun show were seriously talking about if it would be possible to hog out the 40 chamber and make it a 10mm or acquire an appropriate factory barrel for it.
