Do they interchange? Picking up the CF380 soon and if the magazines interchange may grab the carbine...

The 8 round pistol mags are not long enough to work in the carbine, and the "battery pack" at the base of the 10 round pistol magazine also makes it impossible to to work.

Left is carbine mag, center is 10 round pistol mag, and right is 8 round pistol mag, you can see the difference in length.

That is a shame. Just picked up the .380. I like it alot. I've owned 9mm Hi Point carbines in the past but never the pistols. I certainly see one of every caliber in my future.

Well, you CAN mod the 10 round battery pack base so that it's a sleeve and use the carbine mag in the pistol. It's a lot of work though.

Old thread revival.

I was kind of curious about that carbine. Seems like an odd choice, but I suppose their intended market are people that already own a .380 ccw/home defense gun but not a lot else yet. Plenty of those folks I suppose. I wonder how well they sell. I see them on my regular gun shops website for $248. Which is quite a low price for a semi-auto, non 22lr firearm.
Recoil would have to be virtually non existent, I should think.
When I see five weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.
