c9 keyholes

Postby Flowmaster » Tue Jul 26, 2016 10:28 am

Anyone here have a C9 that keyholes? I took my C9 to the range last week and had some definate keyholing of the paper target at just 15 feet. The keyholes were grouping pretty well though. I think it may be time to send it back to Hi Point. I was shooting tulammo steel cased 9mm at the time. When I switched to Federal FMJ it did the same thing so it might not just be the cheapie Russian ammo. I've got a target somewhere. I'll try to take a pic to show you folks.

First time I've ever heard of an HP that keyholes. Back to mom it goes!

I think the friends I was out shooting with must've thrown away the target I wanted to keep. It was actually keyholing in groups!

I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what they'd like me to do. I will offer to send them the barrel or the whole gun.

Maybe they're trying to make them tumble like the .45?

It's not a problem, it's a feature! Kidding of course. They will definitely fix it for you though.
