The Regent .22 revolver

Postby Papa G » Fri May 03, 2019 7:18 pm

Made by Firearms INT'L Corp Washington D.C I got it 15 years ago from Gun Broker. I never shot it because cylinder moves left and right. I do not know what is wrong with it.

Strange, I've never heard of it. You say the cylinder moves laterally left and right, or it's axis is just loose and it's sloppy? What caliber is it in? Unless there is a lot of play in the cylinder it may still be safe to shoot.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I see you wrote it was in .22. I have a Thalco .22 Short (really a rebranded RG-10) and the cylinder is held in alignment with a ball detent, not positive at all. I shoot it all the time.

The cylinder is so close to the back wall of revolver frame, that I cannot see whats is going on with the movements.
